Book Club Talk, “Big Little Lies” by Liane Moriarty

2017-02-06 19:00 2017-02-06 19:00 America/New_York Book Club Talk, “Big Little Lies” by Liane Moriarty

Moriarty’s bestselling novel will soon be an HBO series starring Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman.  Come discuss the source material with us just in time for the show’s February premiere.

A murder…A tragic accident… Or just parents behaving badly?  What is indisputable is that someone is dead. “Big Little Lies” is a brilliant take on ex-husbands and second wives, mothers and daughters, schoolyard scandal, and the dangerous little lies we tell ourselves to survive.  Sometimes it is the little lies that turn out to be the most lethal…

The discussion will be led by Library Associate Kate Gomes, who has developed an interest in this genre and would like to encourage a discussion amongst the attendees.  We have copies of the book available to check out at the Circulation Desk at the Main Branch and Manomet Branch libraries, although they are going fast.

This program is free and no registration is required.  It is sponsored by the Plymouth Public Library Corporation.  The library is fully accessible; please let us know if you need special accommodations to attend.
