After more than sixty years in Plymouth Harbor, Plimoth Plantation established a partnership with Mystic Seaport Museum to begin a once-in-a-century restoration for Mayflower. Under the leadership of Whit Perry, Director of Maritime Preservation and Operations at Plimoth Plantation, a team of maritime artisans has been working alongside shipwrights, riggers, caulkers, and painters to make steady progress to preserve this iconic ship for generations to come. Through brand new video and documentary photography taken by the restoration crew, join Captain Perry and maritime artisans Dylan Perry and Don Heminitz as they relate a detailed account of the restoration of this iconic ship.
