Plimoth colony was founded by a colony of dreamers, thinkers, and makers. Through this event we will celebrate the makers that called Plymouth home. Whether it was the tradespeople that came here on the Mayflower as Pilgrims, the men who built the replica Mayflower II, or the crew that is currently restoring the Mayflower to sailing conditions, they were all makers. Join us at our waterfront exhibit "Should I Stay or Should I Go" to explore the choices that the Pilgrims made when boarding the Mayflower and what life was like during the journey. Learn about the importance of bells on ships and the process of casting one. Become a maker yourself by creating a mini flowerpot bell like we will be casting for the Mayflower restoration project.
